3.58Define Freeze/Thaw Command

Show/Freeze/Thaw command enables you to temporarily freeze the graphic image generation. Selecting the command for the first time resets the image and causes the generation of joints and members only. It is generally used when the display generation time is too long and you want to change some display settings (e.g. orientation) without waiting for the whole model display to be completed.

•From the Show menu, select Freeze/Thaw. Any display generation that is taking effect stops and only the joints and members of the model are redrawn.

•To reset the display or thaw it, select the command again. The model, with whatever settings selected, are redrawn. You can toggle the command between freeze and thaw actions as often as you like.
