3.23Define Structure Type

•From the Define menu, select Type. The dialog box of Figure 3-10 appears.

•From the STRUCTURE TYPE options group, select a structure type. Options include 2-D frames, 3-D frames, 2-D trusses, or 3-D trusses. The availability of other commands and options depends on the type of structure selected.

•Enter the project and engineer labels in the corresponding text boxes. These labels help organize and identify data files.

•Choose the OK button.
