3.55Translate Graphical Image
Show/Translate command enables you to move the displayed image around the screen. Image translation is a linear movement of the viewport. This command is used for display purposes only and does not affect the model geometry.
•From the Show menu, select Translate. Note that this command stays in effect until you clear it.
•Click and hold the left-mouse button. As you drag the cursor around the Graphics area, a line representing the new relative location of the viewport appears. Translation is made when you release the left-mouse button.
•Use the CTRL+UP, CTRL+DOWN, CTRL+LEFT ARROW, or CTRL+RIGHT ARROW key combination to move the viewport up, down, left, or right, respectively. Press CTRL++ (CTRL and the plus key) to increase the translation increment or CTRL+- (CTRL and the minus key) to decrease it. These keyboard assignments are always active, regardless of the Translate command status.
•To reset the translation to its default position, select the Show/Reset command.
