5.28Include Self Loads

By default, member self weight is not included in the applied loads. However, you may include the self weight of all or just selected members using the Assign/Self Loads command. The member self weight is automatically computed and included in the SELF load case.

•From the Assign menu, choose Self Loads.

•In the Graphics area, using the left-mouse button, marquee select the members whose self weight should be included. To remove members from the selection, marquee select them using the right-mouse button.

•To end self loads assignment, choose another command.
