2.18Refine model

In spFrame, the structure is reduced to a model consisting of joints and members. Joints represent the intersection of the geometric centers of the structural members, and members are straight lines representing the centerlines of the structural members. The analysis is then performed on this centerline-to-centerline geometry and the resulting end forces are presented at the joints. spFrame allows you to apply some refinement to the model to compensate for these approximations.
