3.53Define Zoom Command

Show/Zoom command enables you to enlarge or reduce the image of the model in the Graphics window. It allows you to look at a detail of the model. This command is used for display purposes only and does not affect the model geometry.

From the Show menu, choose Zoom. Note that this command stays in effect until you clear it.

3.53.1Using the mouse

To zoom in (enlarge), using the left-mouse button, marquee select a portion of the graphical image. The selected area occupies the entire Graphics area.

To zoom out (reduce), using the right-mouse button, marquee select a portion of the graphical image. The viewport is adjusted in proportion to the selected area to the Graphics area.

3.53.2Using the keyboard

Use the CTRL+PGUP to zoom in and CTRL+PGDN to zoom out. To move the viewport left, right, up, or down, press CTRL+LEFT, CTRL+RIGHT, CTRL+UP, or CTRL+DOWN, respectively. These keyboard assignments are always active, regardless of the Zoom command status.

3.53.3To reset the zoom

To reset the display to its original scale, choose the Show/Reset command.
