Digital Property Rights

StructurePoint LLC

Last updated: June 2026

Our Software, Our Work

1. Why This Matters to Us

StructurePoint creates, maintains, and continuously improves software that structural engineers rely on to design safe, code-compliant concrete structures. That work takes time, expertise, and ongoing investment. Protecting our digital property rights is what makes it possible for us to keep doing it.

We are the sole creators and owners of StructurePoint software, and we are entitled to license and protect it as we see fit. Our vision and values guide everything we do — including how we approach this.

The Real Risk of Pirated Software

2. It Is Not Just a Legal Issue

We understand why pirated software can seem appealing, especially when budget or access is a real constraint. But there are serious risks that often go overlooked.

Pirated or cracked software is frequently modified by unknown third parties before it is distributed. That modification is almost never benign — it is commonly used to embed malware, viruses, or other malicious code that can compromise your system and your data. When you run cracked software, you have no way of knowing what else is running alongside it.

Beyond the security risk, pirated software bypasses the rigorous verification and validation processes we apply to every release. Our quality standards exist for a reason: the structures designed with our software need to be safe for the people who use them. Pirated software cannot offer that assurance. The results it produces simply cannot be trusted.

To put it plainly: software used to design structures for public safety must come from a verified, legitimate source. Anything less is not an acceptable risk.

There Is Always Another Way

3. We Want to Work With You

If you are considering a pirated copy of our software because a legitimate license feels out of reach — whether due to budget, corporate restrictions, or any other reason — please reach out to us first. We mean that.

We are a solutions company at our core, and we will work with you to find a path that fits your situation while upholding the quality and integrity our software is known for. We also offer extensive training, education, and learning programs that provide real value and cannot be pirated.

Above all, we want a world of safe, sustainable, and durable reinforced concrete structures. If our software can help you get there legitimately, we want to make that happen.

Contact us any time at info@structurepoint.org — we are always glad to hear from you.
